Rosanne English

Dr. Rosanne English is a Principal Teaching Fellow in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Strathclyde, UK. She serves as Deputy Head of Department with a focus on teaching strategy and cybersecurity education. English is also Vice Chair of the ACM UK Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education (SIGCSE).

Her research interests center on advancing computational thinking through student-centered pedagogy, including active learning, flipped classrooms, and interactive windows. She explores innovative assessment methods, generative AI integration in education, and inclusive practices for diverse learners, particularly those with dyslexia.
