Rosanna Vaschetto

Rosanna Vaschetto is an Associate Professor at the University of Eastern Piedmont, affiliated with the Department of Translational Medicine and the School of Specialization in Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management. Her academic and clinical work focuses on critical care, particularly mechanical ventilation and sepsis research. She teaches courses such as Anesthesiology and Emergency Nursing: Resuscitation, contributing to both undergraduate and postgraduate training programs.

Research Interests:

• Mechanical Ventilation: Pathophysiological mechanisms of ventilator-induced lung injury, clinical applications of invasive/noninvasive ventilation, and weaning strategies in hypoxemic patients.
• Sepsis: Collaborative studies on sepsis pathophysiology and novel biomarkers for organ dysfunction, conducted with the Immunology Laboratory and Emergency Medicine teams.
