Rosa von Suess

FH-Prof. Mag. Dr. Rosa von Suess is a Professor in the Department of Media and Digital Technologies at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, leading the Media Technology (BA) program and the Film, TV and Media - Creation and Distribution (MA) course. She heads the educational television c-tv and is affiliated with the Institute of Creative Media/Technologies. Her work focuses on immersive media (AR/VR), digital heritage preservation, and educational technology.

She completed her PhD in 'Science on Screen' at the University of Art and Design Linz (2014), earning the 2014 Award of Excellence for her dissertation. Her research projects include the Woodcraft Revisited (Cultural Heritage) and TailoredMedia (immersive storytelling). She advises Austrian ministries and organizations on film formats, media communication, and cultural preservation.

Her publications span interactive storytelling, digital heritage, and transmedia extensions. She actively contributes to conferences like EUPRIO and the International Conference on Creative Media Technologies.
