Rosa Redolat Iborra

Rosa Redolat Iborra is a Professor in the Department of Psychobiology at the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy, University of Valencia. Her academic and research career is deeply rooted in psychobiology, with a focus on behavioral and neuropharmacological aspects of mental health and aging.

Her research interests span Psychobiology, Behavioral Neuroscience, and Neuropsychopharmacology, particularly examining aggressive behavior and the effects of pharmacological agents. More recently, her work has expanded into the integration of new technologies in promoting mental health and supporting healthy aging, as evidenced by her affiliation with the ENVEST research group.

She earned her doctorate from the University of Valencia in 1988 with a thesis titled Efectos del sulpiride sobre la conducta agonística en ratones (Effects of sulpiride on agonistic behavior in mice), establishing an early focus on dopaminergic modulation of behavior.

Dr. Redolat is actively involved in research through the ENVEST: Aging, Mental Health and New Technologies group, which explores interdisciplinary approaches to cognitive and emotional well-being in aging populations using innovative technological solutions.
