Rosa M Lamuela-Raventos

Rosa M Lamuela-Raventos is a Full Professor at the Department of Nutrition, Food Sciences and Gastronomy, University of Barcelona, and chair of the Institute of Research in Nutrition and Food Safety (INSA-UB) since 2015. She leads the internationally recognized Polyphenol Research Group (www.polyphenolresearch.com), funded continuously by Spanish Science Ministries and affiliated with CIBEROBN since 2012.

• Bioactive compounds in food
• Mediterranean diet and cardiovascular health
• Food chemistry of olive oil and wine
• Metabolomic analysis of dietary interventions
• Microbiota-nutrient interactions

Scientific Achievements: With 327 publications (269 articles, 23 reviews), an h-index of 82, and over 31,000 citations, she has been a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics for five consecutive years (2017-2021). Her 2018 Danone Institute Award recognized her scientific trajectory.
