Prof. Dr. Ronald Holtz is a faculty member at FHNW (University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland), where he serves as the Head of Laser Technology at the Institute of Product and Production Engineering. He is responsible for the Photonics profile within the Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) program and actively teaches courses on Advanced Manufacturing and laboratories in both the BSc Mechanical Engineering and BSc Engineering and Management programs.
- Research Focus: Laser micromachining, laser welding, and development of laser and beam delivery components
- Supervision: Student projects in BSc Mechanical Engineering, advisor for master students in Laser Technology R&D
