Ronald Fernando Garcia Ruiz

Dr. Ronald Fernando Garcia Ruiz is the Thomas A. Frank Career Development Associate Professor of Physics at MIT. His research focuses on using laser spectroscopy to study short-lived radioactive nuclei and molecules to explore fundamental physics, including nuclear forces, quantum chemistry, and new physics beyond the Standard Model. He leads the Laboratory of Exotic Molecules and Atoms and is affiliated with the Hadronic Physics Group (HPG) and the Laboratory for Nuclear Science at MIT.
