Ronald E. Hoxworth

Ronald E. Hoxworth is a Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He serves as Chief of Plastic Surgery for University Hospitals and Medical Director of University Surgical Services, with dual board certification in Surgery and Plastic Surgery. His career spans clinical expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, including abdominal wall and trunk reconstruction, facial rejuvenation, and pediatric trauma repair.

Dr. Hoxworth's research focuses on abdominal wall physiology, facial and nasal anatomy, and pediatric reconstruction. He has published extensively on topics like venous thromboembolism prevention, rhinoplasty techniques, and evidence-based surgical safety protocols.
