Ronald CLARKE is an Associate Professor in the Management and Organisation Academic Area at Rennes School of Business (since 2022). He holds a Ph.D. in Business Management from the University of Valencia (2014), alongside advanced qualifications in pedagogy and business administration. His research focuses on team processes, social networks, and organizational behavior, with a particular emphasis on leader dynamics and intergroup relations. He has held prior academic roles at the University of Valencia and Instituto de Empresa Business School, complemented by non-academic experience in HR analytics and consulting.
Dr. CLARKE’s work has been recognized through awards including the 2022 Teaching Excellence Award and Research Award from Rennes School of Business, as well as the Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award (University of Valencia, 2017). His contributions span peer-reviewed journals like Journal of Applied Psychology and Long Range Planning, addressing topics such as multiplex leadership ties, team performance drivers, and creativity facilitation through social networks.
His research demonstrates a consistent focus on understanding how social structures within organizations—particularly leadership networks—impact team effectiveness, creativity, and strategic ambidexterity. Recent work examines middle management’s role in top management teams and the effects of self-management teams on well-being.
