Ron West serves as Professor of Taxation in the Department of Accounting, Taxation, Law and Information Sciences at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Silberman College of Business, where he has been a full-time faculty member since 1997. He currently directs the CFP Board Registered Program and served as department chair from 2013 to 2024.

Professor West's research centers on evolving developments in taxation, with expertise spanning individual and entity taxation systems.
