Professor W. Ron Gard is a Professor of Practice and Director of the Strategy, Leadership and Analytics Minor (SLAM) at Tulane University. He holds a JD/PhD from the University of Arizona, specializing in the intersection of law, economics, and culture. Currently, he also serves as CEO of Limited Times, LLC, a legal tech company, and is a non-resident fellow at Stanford Law School.
His teaching spans law, business, communication, writing, and literature/film over two decades. Recent focus areas include entrepreneurship and social innovation, emphasizing business methods and negotiation strategies. He advises on legal negotiations across multinational and smaller entities through his company.
Prof. Gard’s interdisciplinary research explores cultural and economic dynamics in workplace and legal contexts. His work bridges law, business practices, and societal interactions, with a practical focus on innovation and strategic frameworks.
