Romano Benini is a Fixed-term Extraordinary Professor at Link Campus University in Rome and also holds a professorship in Sociology of Made in Italy at Sapienza University of Rome. He specializes in welfare sociology, labor market policies, and corporate welfare. He serves as Coordinator of the Master's Degree in Economics of Innovation and Sustainable Globalization (LM-56) at Link Campus University.
He acts as an expert for the Italian Presidency of the Council on PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), the Ministry of Labor, and G7 initiatives. His advisory roles include the European Youth Guarantee Program and multiple Italian institutions like Fondazione Studi Consulenti del Lavoro and CNA. He chairs the European Social Fund Monitoring Committee and National Lifelong Learning Committee.
