Professor Roman Słowiński is an academic at the Institute of Computer Science, Poznan University of Technology, and serves as Vice-President of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He was awarded the L'Ordre des Palmes Académiques by France for his contributions to Franco-Polish academic relations. His work focuses on developing innovative computer systems for management and decision support, with a strong emphasis on international collaboration.
Research Interests: Prof. Słowiński pioneers advancements in Intelligent Decision Support Systems, leveraging artificial intelligence and multi-criteria decision analysis. His work bridges theoretical computer science with practical applications in management tools, often through transnational partnerships.
Collaborations: He has held visiting roles at Paris-Dauphine University (European Chair, 2005–2006), Tours Polytechnic University, and École Centrale Paris.
