Roman Stöllinger is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Economics at the Central European University (CEU). He concurrently serves as an economist at The Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw), a lecturer at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), and an expert for industrial development at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). His research focuses on international trade, global value chains, industrial policy, structural change, and the interplay of digital and ecological transformations.
Stöllinger holds a Master’s degree in International Economics and Business Studies from the University of Innsbruck and a PhD in Economics from the University of Vienna. He is an associate editor of Structural Change and Economic Dynamics and actively contributes to the Research Centre International Economics (FIW).
