Roman Hossein Khonsari

Roman Hossein Khonsari serves as Director of the 'Forme et Croissance du Crâne' (Shape and Growth of the Skull) research team at the National Museum of Natural History. His research focuses on describing skull formation and growth using digital tools based on medical data with the aim of creating predictive devices to improve craniofacial malformation management.

His primary research interests include Craniofacial development, Craniofacial growth, Geometric morphometry, Artificial intelligence, Biomechanics, and Craniofacial malformation. His work integrates computational approaches with clinical applications to advance understanding of craniofacial abnormalities.

Dr. Khonsari's recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on next-generation phenotyping techniques, 3D geometric analysis of craniofacial structures, and genetic correlations with physical manifestations. His research spans clinical genetics, anatomical studies, and advanced imaging techniques to develop improved diagnostic criteria and management approaches for craniofacial conditions.

As team director, he oversees a multidisciplinary research group comprising PhD students, master's students, and associated researchers working collaboratively on craniofacial development projects.
