Rolf van Benthem is a Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry (Physical Chemistry group) at Eindhoven University of Technology, holding this part-time position since 2002. He also serves as Chief Scientist for Materials Science & Engineering at Shell Global Solutions BV since 2022, following 26 years at DSM as Corporate Science Fellow.
