Roland Martijn van Rijswijk-Deij is a Full Professor at the University of Twente, holding dual roles in the Design and Analysis of Communication Systems and the Digital Society Institute. His research focuses on cybersecurity, DNS infrastructure, and network measurement. He has contributed to over 79 research outputs, including influential works on DNS security, anycast routing, and federated learning in smart homes.
His expertise aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly addressing challenges in digital security and infrastructure resilience. Key achievements include the ACM SIGCOMM IMC Community Contribution Award (2014) and Best Paper Awards at NOMS 2024 and other conferences.
