Roland Fischer

Roland Fischer is a Lecturer at the Lucerne School of Business, part of Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, within the Institute of Business and Regional Economics (IBR). He has been affiliated with HSLU since 2015, focusing on Public Financial Management, Federalism and Fiscal Equalization, and International Economics. Prior to his academic role, he held positions in the Swiss Federal Financial Administration, including leading roles in fiscal statistics and project management for fiscal reforms. His professional background includes roles as an economist at Credit Suisse and as a political representative in the Swiss National Council for the Green Liberal Party of Lucerne.
