Roland Börger

Roland Börger is Professor of Choral Conducting and Director of Choirs at Leipzig Hochschule für Musik und Theater, and Visiting Professor at the Royal Academy of Music. Born in Chile and educated at Conservatorio Nacional de Música in Santiago and Freiburg, Germany, he specializes in German and Spanish Baroque choral and organ repertoire.

As a conductor and organ recitalist, Börger has performed internationally at venues including Royal Festival Hall. He pioneered the introduction of reconstructed Tudor organs to London's Southbank Centre. His pedagogical work includes teaching positions across Europe, Asia, and South America.
