Rohit Ghosh

Dr. Rohit Ghosh is a Researcher in the Climate Dynamics department at the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI) in Bremerhaven, Germany. His work focuses on high-resolution climate modeling, Arctic sea ice dynamics, North Atlantic variability, and the impacts of climate change on regional patterns such as the Warm Arctic Cold Eurasia (WACE) phenomenon. He specializes in advanced coupled models like IFS-FESOM and contributes to global storyline simulations for extreme event analysis.

His research investigates the role of Arctic sea ice loss, Northern Hemisphere snow cover, and tropical Pacific processes in driving atmospheric circulation changes.
