Anna Roglans Ribas (b. 1964, Palafrugell) is a Full Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Girona. She earned her PhD in Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 1994 under Prof. Marcial Moreno Mañas, followed by postdoctoral research with Prof. Victor Snieckus at the University of Waterloo, Canada (1995-1996).

Her research focuses on computational chemistry and catalysis, particularly in transition metal-catalyzed reactions. She leads the DiMoCat research group, specializing in modeling organometallic reaction mechanisms. From 1997-1998, she held a MEC reintegration contract for doctorates at UAB before joining the University of Girona permanently in 1999.
She has contributed to projects and conferences in organic synthesis, with an emphasis on computational methods in catalysis. Her work bridges experimental and theoretical approaches to optimize transition metal catalysts.
