Roger Stritmatter

Roger Stritmatter is a Professor of Humanities and Literary Studies at Coppin State University since 2003. His research focuses on Shakespeare authorship studies, Edward de Vere, forensic literary analysis, and biblical influences in Renaissance literature. He holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

He has published extensively on figures like Ben Jonson, Francis Meres, and Michael Drayton, arguing they knew the true author of Shakespeare's works.

Current research involves analyzing 16th-century marginal annotations at Audley End linked to Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford. His work bridges forensic science with literary history to challenge traditional authorship narratives.
