Rocío González Naranjo is a Lecturer in Spanish Literature and Civilization at the University of Southern Brittany's Faculty of Humanities. She holds a Doctorate in Modern Literature (Comparative Literature) from the Universities of Limoges (France) and Huelva (Spain) (2013). Her research focuses on reconstructing the historical contributions of women in Spain, particularly during the Edad de Plata (1900-1936) and their experiences during and after the Spanish Civil War, emphasizing geocriticism and feminist genealogies. She has organized international conferences such as “Amatrides: Ethics of Female Exile” (2021) and co-authored books like Modernas, Flappers y Garçonnes (2022). Her work bridges literary analysis with interdisciplinary studies, examining marginalized voices in theater and press. She is a member of the CHUS research team and has contributed to academic journals like HispanismeS and Acotaciones. Her activities include public lectures, educational workshops, and expert roles in documentaries on women's historical contributions.
