Dr. Rocky Cheung is a Senior Lecturer in Anatomy Education at King's College London's Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine, Department of Anatomy. He co-leads the Physiology and Anatomy of Systems module in the MBBS Stage 1 programme, focusing on dissection and prosection-based anatomy teaching for medical and science students. His research emphasizes technology-enhanced learning, particularly 3D printing and VR applications in anatomy education.
He holds a PhD from the University of Hong Kong (2021), MSc from the University of Edinburgh (2017), and BSc from the University of Liverpool (2015). His work addresses student learning behaviors, curriculum design challenges, and public anatomy literacy. He serves on the Anatomical Sciences Education journal's review board and the Anatomical Society's Meeting Committee.
Key research outputs include evaluations of 3D-printed models in head/neck anatomy education, VR integration during the pandemic, and public anatomical knowledge surveys. He explores multifactorial learning barriers and curricular implications for medical students.
