Rochelle M David

Rochelle M David, MD is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at UT Health San Antonio, Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine. She serves as the Associate Residency Program Director, Co-director of the Ob/Gyn Residency Mentorship Program, and previously held roles as Medical Director of Women’s Preventative Health and Ambulatory Services. Her clinical and academic roles emphasize resident education, wellness, and mentorship.

Dr. David earned a Bachelor of Science (1997) and MD (2000) from the University of Florida, followed by residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center (2004). She transitioned from private practice in Florida to UT Health San Antonio in 2011.

Her research and clinical interests focus on general obstetrics/gynecology, benign vulvar disease, adolescent gynecology, contraception, and resident wellness. She actively contributes to the UT Teen Health program to advance adolescent care.

Dr. David has received multiple teaching awards, reflecting her commitment to education and mentorship. She leads initiatives in residency training, clinical service optimization, and interprofessional collaboration in women’s health.
