Rochelle Layla Terman is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago. She specializes in international norms, human rights, and computational social science. Her research addresses issues like Islamophobia, gender, and the efficacy of human rights pressure tactics. Terman holds a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, with a focus on Gender & Women’s Studies. She is affiliated with the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, Center for the Study of Gender & Sexuality, Committee on International Relations, and Program on Computational Social Science.
