Professor Robyn Norton AO is Founding Director of The George Institute for Global Health, Professor of Public Health at UNSW Sydney, and Chair of Global Health at Imperial College London. She has co-established the Global Women’s Health Program, focusing on non-communicable diseases and injuries across women’s lifecourse.
- Co-leader of sex/gender equity policy development in Australia and the UK
- Founded Australia’s first Centre for Sex and Gender Equity in Health and Medicine (2024)
- Active advisor to Franklin Women, Imperial College’s Women’s Health Network, and Black Dog Institute
Research Interests: Women’s health advocacy, gender equity in medical research, non-communicable diseases, injury prevention, and health systems reform. Her work emphasizes data disaggregation by sex/gender and policy frameworks to address health disparities globally.
