Dr. Robyn Gershon is a Clinical Professor of Epidemiology at NYU's School of Global Public Health. An interdisciplinary researcher with a Johns Hopkins doctorate, she specializes in disaster response, healthcare safety, and risk management in high-risk occupations.
Her work includes studies on bloodborne pathogen exposure, hospital safety climates, emergency evacuations (including the World Trade Center study), and public health compliance during crises. She recently completed an NIH-funded longitudinal study on STEM career persistence among underrepresented doctoral students.
