Dr. Robin van Halderen is an Associate Professor of Online Resilience at Saxion, where he serves as a senior lecturer and researcher within the Online Resilience research group. His work focuses on enhancing digital safety and societal resilience through interdisciplinary approaches.
Research interests span Online Resilience (including cybersecurity frameworks and threat mitigation), Digital Citizenship (promoting ethical digital engagement), and Societal Safety (addressing emerging risks in interconnected systems).
Secondary activities include:
- Member of the Digital Citizenship Working Group (Citizenship Expertise Center), unpaid (2022–present)
- Editor for the Journal for Safety (Boom criminology), unpaid (2016–present)
