Robin Thomas

Robin Thomas was a Regents' Professor at the School of Mathematics, Georgia Institute of Technology. He specialized in Graph Theory, Combinatorics, and Algorithms, with notable contributions to the Four Color Theorem and its generalizations. His research explored graph minors, topological graph theory, and efficient algorithms.

Research interests included Hamiltonian graphs on surfaces, embeddings of graphs, and structural graph theory. He collaborated extensively on projects funded by the National Science Foundation.
