Robin J. Dunn

Robin J. Dunn is an Assistant Professor and coordinator of the health promotion track in the Department of Kinesiology at Saint Mary’s College of California, School of Liberal Arts. Her multidisciplinary background bridges business administration, exercise science, and physical education teacher education, with a focus on leveraging physical activity to cultivate responsibility and prosocial behaviors in youth.

Her research spans two core areas: (1) using guided discovery and cooperative activities to instill responsibility in young children, and (2) analyzing youth perspectives on health promotion topics like nutrition, sleep, and stress. She has collaborated with Girls on the Run, Inc. to design physical activity curricula.

Recent publications highlight interdisciplinary approaches, including peer review dynamics in STEM education, responsibility transfer in kinesiology, and cooperative learning frameworks. The articles reflect her expertise in youth development and health promotion.
