Dr. Robin Hojnoski serves as Professor and Acting Dean for the College of Education at Lehigh University, where she applies school psychology principles to early educational settings with emphasis on identification and intervention strategies for learning and social behavioral challenges in young children.
Her academic credentials include:
- Ph.D. from University of Massachusetts, Amherst
- M.A. from Tufts University
- B.A. from Smith College
Research focuses on data-driven educational decision-making, response to intervention frameworks, and specialized assessment development for preschool populations. Her work bridges school psychology theory with practical classroom applications, particularly in early literacy and numeracy skill measurement. Current initiatives include designing field-tested tasks for evaluating number knowledge and early reading abilities in pre-K students.
As Acting Dean, she leads the College of Education's strategic direction including the Small City School District Summit addressing teacher retention, compensation models, and policy reform in urban education systems.
