Robin Gühne

Robin Gühne is a Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids in Dresden, Germany, working within two research groups: Physics of Quantum Matter (PQM) hosted by Dr. M. Baenitz and Topological Quantum Chemistry (TQC) led by Prof. Dr. Claudia Felser.

His research focuses on the intersection of topological materials, quantum chemistry, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Dr. Gühne investigates quantum phenomena in novel materials using advanced experimental techniques, particularly examining how topological properties manifest in magnetic resonance measurements.

Dr. Gühne completed his doctoral degree through a cotutelle program between Leipzig University in Germany and Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand in 2019. He then served as a Postdoc at the Felix Bloch Institute of Solid State Physics at Leipzig University from 2019 to 2023 before joining the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids in 2023. His current work continues to bridge theoretical predictions with experimental validation in the rapidly evolving field of topological quantum materials.
