Robin Greeley

Robin Adèle Greeley is Professor of Modern & Contemporary Latin American Art History at University of Connecticut, with affiliate status at MIT. Her scholarship examines art's role in human rights, transitional justice, and intercultural politics.

As founding member of the Symbolic Reparations Research Project, she develops policy recommendations for art-based reparations in human rights contexts. Publications include award-winning analyses of Mexican muralism and surrealism.

Grants include awards from Getty, Rockefeller, and Mellon foundations. Current work addresses memorialization effectiveness for the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
