Roberto Gaxiola

Roberto Gaxiola is a Senior Global Futures Scientist at Arizona State University (ASU), affiliated with the Water Institute and the School of Life Sciences. His research focuses on plant molecular biology and physiology, particularly root engineering to enhance crop productivity. He earned a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from Ruprecht-Karls University of Heidelberg in 1991.
