Roberto Fajardo

Dr. Roberto Fajardo is a Professor in the Department of Clinical and Applied Science Education at UIW School of Osteopathic Medicine. He co-directs the musculoskeletal system curriculum and teaches anatomy to osteopathic medical students.

His research examines:

• Bone health complications in diabetes
• Healthcare disparities in orthopedics
• Medical education methodologies

Dr. Fajardo leads an annual pediatric medical mission to Colombia in collaboration with Healing the Children-Florida, providing experiential learning opportunities for students. Previously, he conducted orthopedic research at UT Health San Antonio for nine years.
