Roberto Dell'Acqua is a Professor of Cognitive Science at the School of Psychology, University of Padova. He is the Principal Investigator of the EEG and NIRS Units at the Department of Developmental Psychology (DPSS) and a former Head of the DPSS. He founded the Neuroimaging Labs sector within his department.
Research Interests: His work focuses on behavioral and neurophysiological investigations of attention limitations, particularly the attentional blink phenomenon, using EEG/ERP and fNIRS technologies. He explores the neural correlates of attention shifts via fronto-parietal circuits and studies cognitive impairments in traumatic brain injury patients through neuropsychological assessments.
