Roberto Bande Ramudo

Roberto Bande Ramudo is a Full Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), affiliated with the Department of Fundamentals of Economic Analysis and the Faculty of Administration and Business Management (Lugo campus). He serves as Dean of the Faculty and leads the Galician Association of Regional Science.

• Doctoral Thesis: Lagged adjustment processes in the Spanish unemployment rate: a comparison with Portugal (2002), supervised by Dr. Alberto Meixide Neighbor
• Degree in Economic and Business Sciences (USC), M.Sc. in Economics (Birkbeck College, University of London), and Doctorate in Economics (USC)

His research focuses on:

• Macroeconomics of the labor market
• Uncertainty and macroeconomic savings
• Regional unemployment disparities

He has been recognized with three six-year research periods and one transfer period by the CNEAI (National Commission for the Evaluation of University Research Activity). As President of the Galician Association of Regional Science, he actively contributes to regional economic analysis.
