Roberta Sinatra is a Professor in Social Data Science at the Center for Social Data Science, University of Copenhagen, with joint appointments at IT University of Copenhagen, ISI Foundation (Turin, Italy), and Complexity Science Hub Vienna (Austria). She co-founded the NEtwoRks, Data, and Society (NERDS) research group and focuses on network science, data science, and computational social science at the intersection of AI, social processes, and scientific progress.
Key Research Projects
Her ERC Consolidator Grant-funded project scAIence investigates how generative AI (e.g., chatGPT) reshapes scientific discourse, using large-scale databases and controlled experiments. The interdisciplinary approach integrates NLP, network science, computational social science, and AI ethics.
