Roberta Michnick Golinkoff is the Unidel H. Rodney Sharp Chair and Professor in the School of Education at the University of Delaware, with joint appointments in Psychological and Brain Sciences and Linguistics and Cognitive Science. She directs the Child’s Play, Learning & Development Lab, focusing on language acquisition, play’s cognitive benefits, and spatial skills in preschoolers. Her work bridges research with public advocacy through initiatives like the Ultimate Block Party and Playful Learning Landscapes, transforming urban spaces into learning environments.
