معرفی
Roberta Arcidiacono is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Eastern Piedmont Amedeo Avogadro. Her research focuses on experimental particle physics, particularly in high-energy collider experiments and detector development.
Her primary research interests include Particle Physics, High Energy Physics, and Silicon Detector Development, with specific expertise in Proton-Proton Collisions, Quark-Gluon Plasma studies, and Standard Model Physics. She has made significant contributions to the development of innovative silicon detectors for particle tracking.
Her recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on cutting-edge research at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), including studies of quark-gluon plasma properties, double J/ψ meson production, and precision measurements of rare particle decays. Her work bridges theoretical physics with advanced detector technology development.
Dr. Arcidiacono leads multiple research projects focused on silicon detector innovation, including the 4D-Share project on DC-coupled resistive readout in silicon sensors, the OneMicron project for micrometer position accuracy, and the 4DInSiDe project for innovative silicon detectors for particle tracking in 4 dimensions.
She has been actively involved in major international collaborations, particularly the CMS Collaboration at CERN, and has maintained a consistent publication record with over 1000 research outputs throughout her career. Her recent work shows continued productivity with multiple publications in 2023-2024.
