Dr.-Ing. Robert Wohlfarth is a Researcher at the Mechanics & High Performance Computing Group (MHPC) of the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He has held this position since January 2015 and concurrently serves as a Development Engineer at AdjuCor GmbH since July 2014.
- Education: Diploma in Engineering from TUM (June 2014)
Research Interests: Robert specializes in biomedical engineering and computational modeling, with a focus on:
- Development of Extra Vascular Cardiac Assist Devices
- 0D-Modelling of Pneumatic Systems (ROMs)
- Coupling of 0D- and 3D-Models
- Multiple Objective/Field Optimization
- Adaptive Controls
Publications: His research on bioinspired materials for soft robotics applications was published in Advanced Materials (2014).
