Robert Wilson

Dr Robert Wilson is a Lecturer in Italian at the University of St Andrews, affiliated with the School of Modern Languages. His research focuses on Mediaeval Italian literature, particularly Dante's works, and 20th century/contemporary Italian detective fiction. Wilson holds a PhB from Gregorian University (Rome), an MA from the University of Glasgow, a PGCE from St Andrews College, and a PhD from the University of Glasgow.

His research explores Dante's Commedia through themes like allegory, prophecy, and artistic inspiration, alongside analyzing modern Italian detective narratives.
