Robert Ulbricht is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Boston College, previously holding positions at Toulouse School of Economics and UCLA. His expertise lies in macroeconomics, labor economics, and monetary economics. He earned his Ph.D. from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, with visiting scholar experience at Northwestern University.
His research explores topics such as endogenous uncertainty, credit crunches, mismatch cycles in labor markets, and political transitions. Notable contributions include works on DSGE models with incomplete information and the role of financial distress in economic fluctuations. He has received grants and awards including the SCOR-PSE Junior Research Prize and Boston College Research Incentive Grant.
