Dr hab. Robert Tylingo is an Associate Professor and Vice-Dean for Education at the Faculty of Chemistry, Gdańsk University of Technology. His research focuses on natural polymers for medical and industrial applications, including tissue engineering, 3D bioprinting, and eco-friendly energy materials. He has held roles from assistant (2006–2007) to assistant professor (2007–2019) and currently serves as Vice-Dean since 2019. His work bridges polymer science with biomedical and environmental technologies.
Education:

Research Interests: Specializes in natural polymers (e.g., chitosan) for medical applications, biodegradable materials, and sustainable energy solutions. His studies emphasize biomaterial bioactivity, mechanical properties optimization, and eco-friendly fuel cell technology.
Publications & Recognition: Over 60 publications and numerous patents. Notable awards include multiple Rector’s Awards (2007–2019) and medals for innovations in biomaterials and chitosan technology. His work addresses antimicrobial materials, bioprinting scaffolds, and food technology advancements.
