Robert Sitnik is a Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics at Warsaw University of Technology, where he is affiliated with The Institute of Micromechanics and Photonics. He earned his Doctorate in 2002 and has established himself as a leading researcher in 3D optical measurement techniques and applications.
His research focuses on 3D light measurement, optical shape analysis, structured light techniques, and 3D data processing with applications spanning cultural heritage documentation and medical imaging.
