Robert Seiser is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Biological, Physical and Health Sciences at Roosevelt University’s College of Science, Health and Pharmacy. He joined the faculty in 2004 and oversees programs in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, and Biomedical Science.
- Education: Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology (Duke University), B.A. in Biochemistry (Lawrence University)
His research focuses on yeast cell physiology and environmental stress responses, with additional work in STEM education pedagogies rooted in civic engagement. He leads the SENCER Center of Innovation-Midwest and has presented extensively on science education.
