Professor Robert Schneider is affiliated with the Technische Hochschule Ulm (THU) and works within the Institute of Medical Engineering and Mechatronics. He also collaborates with the Institute of Design and CA Techniques and serves as the Dean of Studies Mechatronics.
His primary research interests focus on lightweight construction, particularly in design and materials, as well as forming technology for lightweight materials. In teaching, he specializes in Design Theory (parts 1 and 2), CAD basics, and applied design theory.
