Robert Needham is a Senior Lecturer at Staffordshire University, specializing in Sport and Clinical Biomechanics. He holds a PhD in Biomechanics (2018) and has expertise in motion capture, electromyography, and gait analysis. His research focuses on movement coordination variability, clinical gait analysis, and biomechanical demands in sports. Needham has worked with Premier League Football Clubs, Stoke City FC, and GB Swimming/Athletics. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority (FHEA) and actively reviews for journals like the Journal of Biomechanics and Gait & Posture.
