Robert N. Femminella

Robert N. Femminella is an Associate Professor at the University of Bridgeport within the College of Health Sciences and School of Health Professions. With over 30 years of teaching experience, he specializes in interdisciplinary education spanning biochemistry, physiology, toxicology, and nutrition. He holds a Ph.D. in Mind-Body Medicine and three Masters degrees in Medical Biology, Human Nutrition, and Health Sciences.

Teaching & Professional Recognition: As an adjunct professor at Nassau Community College for 28 years, he received the SUNY Chancellor Award for Excellence in Adjunct Teaching (2021). He teaches advanced courses such as Infectious Diseases, Environmental Toxicology, and Medical Toxicology, and chairs dissertations on experimental research, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses.
